When can I start accepting assignments?
Interpreters can begin accepting assignments after they have a profile photo, added language pairs, and certifications, and have been evaluated for profile completeness by a Gosignify Concierge.
How will I get paid on GoSignify?
You get paid by using the Stripe payment platform. You must complete a series of steps in your profile for Stripe, including connecting a bank account or debit card.
How do I invoice my client?
A: When you complete your assignment the option to send an invoice to the client appears. You can then enter the final number of hours and include other charges such as mileage, car rentals, and hotel stays among other items. Please discuss additional costs with your client before the assignment starts.
How should I set my hourly rate?
You should set your hourly rate by reviewing other interpreter profiles so you can see what they charge for their hourly rate. We will help you get the highest hourly rates based on average language service costs for your language pair and certification level.
